A little used, Moore-engraved 12-bore boxlock ejector with 28" nitro chopperlump barrels, rib engraved 'WILLIAM POWELL & SON. 35. CARR'S LANE. BIRMINGHAM. ENGLAND.' 2 1/2" chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 1/2 choke, scroll-back action, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail and fully engraved with best bold scrolling acanthus on a matted background, with game scenes of grouse and partridge in flight, the triggerplate signed 'Eng. G. Moore.', bright and blued finish overall. The action flats and fore-end iron retaining virtually full original colour-hardened finish, 14 7/8" boldly-figured stock.
